Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Signal Post Now ("Service"), operated by Signal Post Now ("we," "our," or "us"). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Signal Post Now monitors federal legislation and, upon your request and payment, sends a physical postcard to your elected federal representatives on your behalf. The Service includes:
- Email alerts when legislation on your selected issue areas reaches a key action point
- Pay Per Send ($3.99): A single physical postcard mailed to your representative via our print-and-mail partner, Lob
- Monthly Sender ($12.99/month): Up to 3 postcards per month with no per-send fees
- Unlimited ($19.99/month): Unlimited postcards per month with no per-send fees, personal note included on every postcard
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to use Signal Post Now.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information, including your mailing address. An incorrect address may result in your postcard being sent to the wrong representative. We are not responsible for postcards delivered to unintended recipients due to inaccurate address information.
4. Payments and Refunds
Pay Per Send charges ($3.99) are non-refundable once a postcard has been submitted to our print-and-mail partner for processing. If a postcard fails to send due to a technical error on our part, we will issue a full refund or resend at no charge.
Monthly Sender and Unlimited subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time. Monthly Sender subscribers who reach their 3-postcard monthly limit must wait until the next billing cycle or upgrade to Unlimited to send additional postcards. Personal notes are included at no additional charge for Unlimited subscribers.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment credentials.
5. What We Do and Do Not Promise
Signal Post Now sends your postcard to your representative's official mailing address. We do not guarantee that your representative will read, respond to, or act on your postcard, or that sending a postcard will influence any vote or policy outcome. We do guarantee that your postcard will be submitted to our print-and-mail partner and that you will receive a confirmation email when this occurs.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to send harassing, threatening, or unlawful content; impersonate another person; provide false address information; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by emailing info@signalpostnow.com.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signal Post Now shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
